C\u2019est dans une lettre diffus\u00e9e 25 mars 2016 et dont Cameroun-info.net a eu une copie qu\u2019elle raconte sa m\u00e9saventure. Je suis invit\u00e9e par le journaliste Rodrigue Tongue dans le souci de fournir d\u2019ample explications relativess \u00e0 manifestation de revendication de l\u2019eau en quantit\u00e9 et en qualit\u00e9 le 22 mars dans la ville de Yaound\u00e9.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00abArriv\u00e9e \u00e0 10h30 dans les locaux de Canal 2, je passe normalement par la salle de \u00abmake up\u00bb avec le journaliste et nous entrons ensuite en studio tandis que Ghislain Pierre Essono annonce d\u00e9j\u00e0 en direct mon arriv\u00e9e. Et puis coup de th\u00e9\u00e2tre! Rodrigue Tongue Sort brusquement du studio pour recevoir un coup de fil au terme duquel il revient me prier, l\u2019air abattu, de le suivre un instant. Quelle n\u2019est pas ma surprise lorsque je l\u2019entends me dire mot pour mot: \u00abNotre boss vient d\u2019appeler pour me faire une injonction de ne pas parler de l\u2019eau\u2026 il a dit\u2026 tout sauf l\u2019eau, qu\u2019il a re\u00e7u trop de pressions\u2026, je suis vraiment embarrass\u00e9 Mme la Pr\u00e9sidente\u2026\u00bb.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Je me contente alors de r\u00e9torquer \u00e0 Rodrigue Tongue et \u00e0 ses coll\u00e8gues qui avaient form\u00e9 un attroupement autour de moi: \u00abVous \u00eates le quatri\u00e8me pouvoir. Vous allez devoir prendre vos responsabilit\u00e9s si vous tenez \u00e0 pr\u00e9server la d\u00e9ontologie de votre m\u00e9tier. Mais soyez rassur\u00e9s que, je ne me tairais pas ! J\u2019userai d\u2019autres moyens de communication et souvenez vous, en passant que me museler ne changera rien aux faits t\u00eatus\u2026\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Alice Sadio s\u2019offusque de ce que \u00abrevendiquer de l\u2019eau potable pour le peuple camerounais est un tabou au pays de la libert\u00e9 d\u2019expression\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, \u00abme faire taire ne changera rien aux faits t\u00eatus suivants: Plus de 80% de Camerounais n\u2019ont pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable. Ils se ravitaillent dans des puits et des marigots, s\u2019exposant ainsi aux maladies hydriques que sont le chol\u00e9ra, la typho\u00efde, la dysenterie, les amibiases, la polio, le ver de guin\u00e9e, etc.; D\u2019apr\u00e8s l\u2019OMS, le seuil d\u2019alerte est de moins 1700 m3\/ht\/an tandis que le seuil de p\u00e9nurie critique se situe dans la fourchette de 500 m3\/ht\/an. Plus de la moiti\u00e9 des populations camerounaises se trouvent dans ce seuil de P\u00c9NURIE CRITIQUE\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab (\u2026) C\u2019est cet \u00e9tat de lieu d\u00e9sastreux de la qualit\u00e9 de vie des camerounais qui meurent de plus en plus \u00e0 fleur de l\u2019\u00e2ge qui nous a pouss\u00e9, nous acteurs politiques (Alice SADIO de l\u2019AFP, Edith Kah Wallah du CPP et l\u2019hon. Patricia Ndam Njoya de l\u2019UCD) \u00e0 nous joindre aux acteurs de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile pour crier notre ras le bol et exiger de ce r\u00e9gime qu\u2019il assure d\u2019abord le minimum vital qui est l\u2019eau aux Camerounais avant de poursuivre leurs danses macabres au rythme des \u00abappels \u00e0 la candidature, \u00e0 l\u2019anticipation de la pr\u00e9sidentielle et \u00e0 la r\u00e9vision constitutionnelle\u00bb sur le dos d\u2019un peuple meurtri par les drames sociaux quotidiens de tous ordres\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s nos sources, cette interdiction survient au lendemain d\u2019un reportage sur la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration de la journ\u00e9e mondiale de l\u2019eau. Sur des extraits de la gr\u00e8ve pacifique observ\u00e9e par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, des acteurs de la sc\u00e8ne politique de l\u2019opposition auraient d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le pouvoir en place doit \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9gager\u00a0\u00bb parce qu\u2019il \u00a0ne fait rien pour assurer un acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable aux populations.
