Mais pour ces habitants du Pacifique Sud, dans l&rsquo;archipel de Vanuatu, le d\u00e9funt prince \u00e9tait et reste v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un dieu &#8211; son statut \u00ab&nbsp;surnaturel&nbsp;\u00bb a m\u00eame donn\u00e9 naissance \u00e0 un mouvement connu sous le nom de \u00ab&nbsp;Mouvement Prince Philip.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le prince de 99 ans est v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 et tenu en si haute estime par les habitants du village de Yaohnanen qu&rsquo;ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9vast\u00e9s lorsque la nouvelle de sa mort, survenue le 9 avril, leur a \u00e9t\u00e9 communiqu\u00e9e au cours du week-end par un responsable local du centre culturel du pays, rapporte le New York Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img  title=\"\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thesouthafrican.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Prince-Philip-Tribe.jpg.optimal.jpg\"  alt=\"Prince Philip : v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un dieu, cette tribu africaine pense que son esprit est toujours vivant\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;Les gens \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s tristes d&rsquo;apprendre le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de ce grand homme&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 au m\u00e9dia Jean-Pascal Wah\u00e9, le fonctionnaire qui a fait quatre heures de route jusqu&rsquo;au village isol\u00e9 pour les informer de son d\u00e9c\u00e8s. \u00ab&nbsp;C&rsquo;\u00e9tait un homme tr\u00e8s important pour nous tous et c&rsquo;est une grande perte.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Situ\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;\u00eele de Tanna, quelque 700 habitants du village v\u00e9n\u00e8rent le prince Philip comme un dieu car ils pensent qu&rsquo;il est un descendant d&rsquo;un de leurs anc\u00eatres spirituels. Le peuple lui a conf\u00e9r\u00e9 le statut de \u00ab&nbsp;dieu&nbsp;\u00bb lors d&rsquo;une visite dans la nation du Pacifique Sud avec son \u00e9pouse, la reine Elizabeth II, en 1974.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/kfJatc0UNWE\/hqdefault.jpg\"  alt=\"Prince Philip : v\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un dieu, cette tribu africaine pense que son esprit est toujours vivant\"  width=\"575\" height=\"431\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;L&rsquo;un des rameurs qui les ont amen\u00e9s \u00e0 terre \u00e9tait un homme de Tanna appel\u00e9 Chief Jack&nbsp;\u00bb, se souvient Dickie Arbiter, ancien porte-parole du palais de Buckingham. \u00ab&nbsp;Il pensait que Philip \u00e9tait un guerrier d&rsquo;il y a longtemps qui \u00e9tait descendu des montagnes et \u00e9tait parti en Angleterre \u00e0 la recherche d&rsquo;une \u00e9pouse.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;La mari\u00e9e est la Reine, donc Philip est le dieu&nbsp;\u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.
