Selon des sources, 75% de la population Herero et la moiti\u00e9 de la population Nama seraient mortes&nbsp; lors de ce massacre historique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les deux pays ont entam\u00e9 des n\u00e9gociations sur les r\u00e9parations en 2015 et ont tenu jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent huit cycles de pourparlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le pr\u00e9sident Geingob a \u00e9t\u00e9 inform\u00e9 mardi par Zed Ngavirus, l\u2019envoy\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial du gouvernement, de l\u2019avancement des n\u00e9gociations, avant une s\u00e9rie ultime de discussions dont la date n\u2019a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today, I received a briefing from Amb. Geingob (@hagegeingob) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hagegeingob\/status\/1293264256302043138?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 11, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab&nbsp;L&rsquo;offre actuelle de r\u00e9parations faite par le gouvernement allemand reste une question en suspens et n&rsquo;est pas acceptable pour le gouvernement namibien&nbsp;\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;Allemagne a accept\u00e9 de s&rsquo;excuser en principe, mais refuse d&rsquo;accepter le terme \u00ab&nbsp;r\u00e9parations&nbsp;\u00bb, alors que la Namibie trouve que ce terme va \u00ab&nbsp;panser les plaies&nbsp;\u00bb, pr\u00e9cise le communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 ce jour, Berlin a reconnu sa responsabilit\u00e9 pour les massacres des Hereros et des Namas, mais n\u2019a pas pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 d\u2019excuses officielles pour ce que certains historiens consid\u00e8rent comme le premier g\u00e9nocide du XXe si\u00e8cle.
