J\u2019ai d\u2019ailleurs fait mien cet avis de l\u2019\u00e9crivain satirique Fran\u00e7ais, Nicolas Boileau, \u00e0 cheval sur les 17\u00e8me et 18\u00e8me si\u00e8cles, qui dit. Qui ne sait se borner ne sut jamais \u00e9crire \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab En r\u00e9alit\u00e9 j\u2019ai compris d\u00e9finitivement pourquoi ce r\u00e9gime a \u00e9chou\u00e9 sur tous les plans en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement, et notoirement sur celui de l\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. Les tenants de ce r\u00e9gime accordent davantage la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019accessoire, voire \u00e0 l\u2019inutile, qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019essentiel. J\u2019ai beaucoup de mal \u00e0 voir les Fran\u00e7ais, dont c\u2019est la langue, perdre autant de temps sur sa grammaire et sa morphologie, qui ont subi tant de variations au gr\u00e9 des fantaisies de leurs locuteurs. V\u00e9hicule de communication, ils l\u2019utilisent pour r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes existentiels, y compris l\u2019expression de leurs \u00e9motions, voire leur projection dans le monde, et non comme un objet de contemplation en soi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur ce chapitre, il est d\u2019ailleurs inutile de mentionner l\u2019anglais et ses multiples d\u00e9riv\u00e9s marqu\u00e9s par ses divers terroirs d\u2019accueil : Inde, Kenya, Etats-Unis, Canada, Australie, etc. Mao Tse Toung parlait \u00e0 son peuple le mandarin pour le conduire \u00e0 la lib\u00e9ration et au d\u00e9veloppement. Kamto aurait d\u2019ailleurs pu choisir de s\u2019exprimer en pidgin que l\u2019important serait de se faire comprendre. A cette allure, les gens doivent nous regarder comme des plaisantins, de v\u00e9ritables ali\u00e9n\u00e9s habit\u00e9s par un s\u00e9rieux complexe du colonis\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C\u2019est un combat pour la cause qui constitue l\u2019essence m\u00eame de l\u2019\u00eatre humain : les droits et les libert\u00e9s fondamentales. C\u2019est le combat pour la lib\u00e9ration et l\u2019\u00e9mancipation multiformes de l\u2019individu. C\u2019est cela qui m\u2019am\u00e8ne \u00e0 dire que seuls des esprits libres peuvent se d\u00e9velopper. C\u2019est cette cause qui m\u2019unit \u00e0 Maurice Kamto. C\u2019est un combat juste qui ne peut \u00eatre critiqu\u00e9 que par des artifices. La libert\u00e9 est le moyen et la finalit\u00e9 du d\u00e9veloppement. En d\u2019autres termes le d\u00e9veloppement c\u2019est la libert\u00e9 : libert\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er, de croire, d\u2019entreprendre, de r\u00e9ussir, d\u2019\u00e9chouer et de recommencer\u2026Or, ce r\u00e9gime a fait du Cameroun un pi\u00e8ge qui phagocyte ses ressortissants, une terre de castrats, un corset qui vole notre libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plus proches de nous, une intelligence empathique aurait amen\u00e9 les Camerounais francophones \u00e0 comprendre que le fondement de la lutte de leurs compatriotes anglophones est une expression de leur d\u00e9sir de libert\u00e9. Ils formeraient alors ensemble un front commun contre cet ordre \u00e9tabli, qui fait du Cameroun, une prison nationale, une terre de d\u00e9solation et de barbarie. Ils comprendraient m\u00eame qu\u2019ils soient pr\u00eats \u00e0 recourir \u00e0 tous les moyens \u00e0 leur disposition pour cette cause supr\u00eame : la libert\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En conclusion, il faut sortir du long sommeil dans lequel nous engloutissent nos archa\u00efsmes et villageoiseries \u2013 replis identitaires, esprit de clocher, etc. \u2013 qui emp\u00eachent notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de se projeter dans l\u2019avenir, pour embrasser la modernit\u00e9.
