Le Roi Philippe a reconnu les torts caus\u00e9s \u00e0 son ancienne colonie pendant la colonisation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le roi de Belgique a adress\u00e9 un message au pr\u00e9sident Congolais, F\u00e9lix Tchiss\u00e9k\u00e9di, \u00e0 l&rsquo;occasion de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du 60\u00e8 anniversaire de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo. Dans le communiqu\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il a transmis, le roi Philippe a fait des all\u00e9gations d&rsquo;une importance capitale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab&nbsp;Je tiens \u00e0 exprimer mes plus profonds regrets pour ces blessures du pass\u00e9 dont la douleur est aujourd\u2019hui raviv\u00e9e par les discriminations encore pr\u00e9sentes dans nos soci\u00e9t\u00e9s&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le Roi de Belgique, dans le communiqu\u00e9. C&rsquo;est la premi\u00e8re fois que sa majest\u00e9 tient des propos d&rsquo;une telle ampleur, et sur un fait historique aussi important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00ab&nbsp;A l\u2019\u00e9poque de l\u2019Etat ind\u00e9pendant du Congo, des actes de violence et de cruaut\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 commis, qui p\u00e8sent encore sur notre m\u00e9moire collective&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>, a soutenu le roi Philippe, relevant que&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;la p\u00e9riode coloniale qui a suivi, a \u00e9galement caus\u00e9 des souffrances et des humiliations&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>, a-t-il ajout\u00e9, s&rsquo;engageant \u00e0&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;combattre toutes les formes de racisme&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>, assurant vouloir encourager&nbsp;<em>\u00ab&nbsp;la r\u00e9flexion qui est entam\u00e9e par notre Parlement afin que notre m\u00e9moire soit d\u00e9finitivement pacifi\u00e9e&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La colonisation reste un fait douloureux pour le peuple congolais, notamment entre 1885 (date de la conf\u00e9rence de Berlin) et 1908, o\u00f9 ce territoire \u00e9tait consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 priv\u00e9e du roi Belge de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, L\u00e9opold II.
