Niah Selway, 17 ans est souffre tous les jours, mais elle n’ose pas pleurer. Elle est si allergique \u00e0 l’eau que m\u00eame lorsque ses larmes en\u00a0contact avec sa peau lui donne des douleurs atroces.
\nElle est l’une des 35 personnes dans le monde qui souffrent d’urticaire aquag\u00e9nique.
\nNiah dit:
\n\u00abVivre avec \u00e7a est un cauchemar. Quand l’eau entre en contact avec ma peau je ressens \u00e7a comme comme une br\u00fblure. J’ai beaucoup de douleur et il n’y a rien \u00e0 faire.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

Les sympt\u00f4mes p\u00e9nibles ont commenc\u00e9 quand elle avait cinq ans mais personne ne pouvait trouver la cause.
\nDonc, tout comme ses copains, elle allait nager, se faire prendre par la pluie et les projections dans les flaques, sans se douter que c\u2019\u00e9tait l’eau qui a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 son \u00e9ruption cutan\u00e9e douloureuse.<\/p>\n

Mais en grandissant, Niah a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’enqu\u00eater en ligne. Elle a dit:<\/p>\n

\u00abJe trouvais quelques histoires. L’une \u00e9tait une fille en Am\u00e9rique qui souffre de la m\u00eame chose et je me suis dit, ‘Wow, enfin je lui ai trouv\u00e9 un nom\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

Un dermatologue a diagnostiqu\u00e9 l’urticaire aquag\u00e9nique mais il n’y a pas de rem\u00e8de.
\nNiah, qui peut boire de l’eau sans douleur, a expliqu\u00e9: \u00abJ’essaie diff\u00e9rentes sortes d’antihistaminique pour voir si cela peut aider \u00e0 apaiser le niveau de ma r\u00e9action, mais ils ne pourront jamais l’arr\u00eater.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>
\nDonc, l’\u00e9tudiant de l’entreprise Hastings, East Sussex, accepte qu’elle doit vivre avec son malaise.<\/p>\n

Quand elle se douche, Niah doit faire beaucoup attention.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0M\u00eame si c’est l’eau qui me fait avoir cette douleur, c’est aussi elle qui m’apaise. Je ne peux jamais dire combien de temps je serai dans la douche, car \u00e7a d\u00e9pend du niveau de ma r\u00e9action.<\/em>
\nQuand je nettoie mon maquillage avec des lingettes pour b\u00e9b\u00e9s et utilise une cr\u00e8me hydratante, \u00e7a pique vraiment. Mon visage br\u00fble pendant une demi-heure, mais je dois le faire\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

Le petit- ami Hussain d\u00e9teste voir Niah souffrir. Elle a dit: \u00ab\u00a0C’est vraiment horrible pour lui parce que je dois juste rester seule.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>
\nEt l’allergie cruelle signifie que si tout cela devient trop, juste une larme rend la douleur encore pire.
