Mais les grands rassemblements sont toujours interdits et les \u00e9coles resteront ferm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans son septi\u00e8me discours \u00e0 la nation depuis que les deux premiers cas ont \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9s le 12 mars 2020, le pr\u00e9sident Nana Akufo-Addo a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que sa d\u00e9cision \u00e9tait bas\u00e9e sur la \u00ab capacit\u00e9 du pays \u00e0 entreprendre un tra\u00e7age agressif des contacts des personnes infect\u00e9es, le renforcement de notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 tester, l&rsquo;expansion du nombre de nos centres de traitement et d&rsquo;isolement \u00bb. Le pr\u00e9sident a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu&rsquo;il \u00e9tait pr\u00e9occup\u00e9 par \u00ab l&rsquo;impact grave sur les pauvres et les personnes vuln\u00e9rables \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Ghana est ainsi le premier pays d&rsquo;Afrique \u00e0 assouplir son confinement \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 d&rsquo;autres comme le Zimbabwe et le Nigeria ont \u00e9tendu le leur. La semaine derni\u00e8re, un tribunal de grande instance a bloqu\u00e9 le confinement du Malawi quelques heures avant son entr\u00e9e en vigueur en raison de craintes que la restriction de mouvement puisse causer plus de tort aux plus pauvres de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 que le virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outre le confinement, le Ghana a plac\u00e9 les tests agressifs des cas suspects au centre de sa r\u00e9ponse aux coronavirus. \u00ab\u00a0Nous avons, \u00e0 ce jour, retrouv\u00e9 quelque 86 000 contacts, parmi lesquels nous avons les r\u00e9sultats des tests de 68 591 contacts \u2026 Nous sommes class\u00e9s num\u00e9ro un en Afrique dans [l&rsquo;administration] de tests par million de personnes\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident Akufo-Addo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019Afrique du Sud, qui compte deux fois et demi de population au Ghana, a effectu\u00e9 environ 100 000 tests. Une centaine de petits laboratoires r\u00e9partis au Ghana, utilis\u00e9s pour les tests de tuberculose, seront d\u00e9sormais \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour tester le COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des tests rigoureux au Ghana ont jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent permis d&rsquo;identifier 1 042 cas de coronavirus, avec neuf d\u00e9c\u00e8s et 99 gu\u00e9risons. Fin mars, lorsque le confinement est entr\u00e9 en vigueur, il n&rsquo;avait \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9 que 161 cas. Cette augmentation du nombre de cas pr\u00e9sageait beaucoup l&rsquo;annonce d&rsquo;une prolongation du confinement, et non sa fin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La gestion par le gouvernement du coronavirus a re\u00e7u un large soutien public et bipartisan.
