Les chercheurs de l’Universit\u00e9 de Georgie (\u00c9tats-Unis) ont fait une recherche sur l\u2019expression de la gratitude conjugale et la communication au sein du couple. Pour cela ils ont interrog\u00e9 par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone 468 personnes mari\u00e9es traversant une situation financi\u00e8re difficile.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons d\u00e9couvert que se sentir appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 et savoir que votre conjoint vous estime influence directement votre ressenti sur votre mariage, le lien de votre engagement et votre conviction qu’il va durer\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9taille Ted Futris, coauteur de l’\u00e9tude.<\/p>\n

D\u2019apr\u00e8s les chercheurs, les diff\u00e9rentes expressions de la gratitude maritale prot\u00e9geraient m\u00eame du divorce. En effet, ce \u00ab\u00a0merci\u00a0\u00bb encouragerait les femmes mari\u00e9es \u00e0 se r\u00e9engager dans une relation sans dialogue, surtout apr\u00e8s une grosse dispute conjugale. \u00ab\u00a0Une marque d’appr\u00e9ciation peut rapidement contrecarrer les effets n\u00e9gatifs d’un conflit\u00a0\u00bb, souligne les scientifiques. Selon eux, le cycle n\u00e9gatif pourrait \u00eatre interrompu par un simple merci.<\/p>\n

Les couples vivant une relation conflictuelle devraient ainsi davantage exprimer leur gratitude afin de d\u00e9samorcer les tensions et de s’ouvrir de nouveau \u00e0 la communication.<\/p>\n
