C\u2019est \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des \u00e9lections l\u00e9gislatives qui ont eu lieu dans le pays le dimanche 9 f\u00e9vrier 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re quelque peu tendue, mais sans suspense qui a pr\u00e9valu les l\u00e9gislatives du dimanche 9 f\u00e9vrier dernier, le pr\u00e9sident Paul Biya a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le Cameroun fait des bonds de g\u00e9ant vers la d\u00e9mocratie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u00abLa d\u00e9mocratie fait des pas de g\u00e9ant au Cameroun. Il y a eu le grand dialogue. Il y a les lois sur la d\u00e9centralisation, le statut sp\u00e9cial, la loi sur le bilinguisme. Et bient\u00f4t, quand les \u00e9lections municipales auront pris fin, on aura \u00e0 \u00e9lire des conseillers r\u00e9gionaux. C\u2019est de grands pas vers une d\u00e9mocratie plus d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e.&nbsp;\u00bb<\/em>, a -t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Le pr\u00e9sident ne cache pas son enthousiasme face \u00e0 ce qui pourrait faire une importante enjamb\u00e9e politique dans l\u2019Etat Camerounais. <em>\u00ab&nbsp;Je n\u2019en suis que satisfait et je remercie les Camerounais d\u2019apporter leur dynamisme.\u00bb<\/em><strong><em>,<\/em><\/strong> a-t-il confi\u00e9 dimanche \u00e0 la presse locale quand il revenait de sa mission citoyenne \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole publique de Bastos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paul Biya, au pouvoir depuis 37 ans, s\u2019est par ailleurs moqu\u00e9 des partis politiques camerounais qui avaient appel\u00e9 les populations \u00e0 un boycott des l\u00e9gislatives qui ont finalement eu lieu, \u00e0 sa grande satisfaction.
