Elle ne savait plus trop quoi faire et voulait tout abandonner.<br \/>\nSa grand-maman se leva en silence et se dirigea vers la cuisine. Elle remplit 3 casseroles d\u2019eau et les pla\u00e7a sur feu vif\u2026 Lorsque l\u2019eau s\u2019est mise \u00e0 bouillir, elle d\u00e9posa des carottes dans la premi\u00e8re casserole, des oeufs dans la deuxi\u00e8me et des grains de caf\u00e9 moulu dans la derni\u00e8re\u2026 Elle laissa bouillir le tout, toujours dans le plus grand silence.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s une vingtaine de minutes, elle a \u00e9teint les ronds du po\u00eale. Elle sortit les carottes et les oeufs et les pla\u00e7a dans une assiette. Puis elle versa le caf\u00e9 dans une tasse.<br \/>\nElle se tourna vers sa petite-fille et brisa le silence en lui demandant : \u201cQue vois-tu?!?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sa petite-fille r\u00e9pondit : \u201cDes carottes, des oeufs et du caf\u00e9.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sa grand-m\u00e8re approche l\u2019assiette de sa petite-fille et lui demanda de toucher les carottes\u2026 La jeune femme, surprise, s\u2019ex\u00e9cuta et nota qu\u2019elles \u00e9taient douces. Par la suite, la grand-m\u00e8re demande \u00e0 sa petite-fille de prendre un oeuf et d\u2019en retirer la coque. Ce que la jeune femme trouva, c\u2019est un oeuf dur\u2026 La derni\u00e8re chose que la grand-m\u00e8re lui demanda c\u2019\u00e9tait de go\u00fbter le caf\u00e9. La petite-fille go\u00fbta le caf\u00e9 et sourit en savourant l\u2019ar\u00f4me riche de la boisson. Elle reposa la tasse et demanda \u00e0 sa grand-m\u00e8re ce que tout cela signifiait\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Sa grand-maman lui expliqua que chacun des aliments avait affront\u00e9 l\u2019eau bouillante, mais chacun avait r\u00e9agi d\u2019une fa\u00e7on bien diff\u00e9rente. Au d\u00e9part, la carotte \u00e9tait forte, dure et implacable est devenue faible et ramollie apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 soumise \u00e0 l\u2019eau bouillante. L\u2019oeuf qui \u00e9tait tout fragile, est devenu dur. Les grains de caf\u00e9, eux, \u00e9taient uniques\u2026 Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 dans l\u2019eau bouillante, ils avaient transform\u00e9 l\u2019eau.<\/p>\n<p>La grand-m\u00e8re demanda alors : \u201cMais toi, qui es-tu?!? Quand l\u2019adversit\u00e9 se pr\u00e9sente, comment r\u00e9agis-tu?!?! Es-tu une carotte, un oeuf ou un grain de caf\u00e9??\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prenez un instant et posez-vous la question\u2026 Qui suis-je?!?!<\/p>\n<p>Suis-je la carotte qui semble forte, mais qui ramollie devant la douleur et l\u2019adversit\u00e9???<\/p>\n<p>Suis-je l\u2019oeuf au coeur mall\u00e9able, mais qui change avec la chaleur??? Est-ce que mon esprit devaient plus dur, plus ferm\u00e9 apr\u00e8s un d\u00e9c\u00e8s une rupture, une difficult\u00e9??? Est-ce que ma coquille reste la m\u00eame alors qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur je suis dur, amer et que j\u2019ai un coeur rigide?!?!<\/p>\n<p>Suis-je un grain de caf\u00e9??? Lorsque l\u2019eau devient chaude, il lib\u00e8re son parfum et sa saveur\u2026 Suis-je comme cette f\u00e8ve, quand les choses vont mal, je peux changer la situation autour de moi et la rendre meilleure??? Est-ce qu\u2019une p\u00e9riode plus sombre me fait \u00e9voluer dans le bon sens???<\/p>\n<p>Comment g\u00e9rez-vous l\u2019adversit\u00e9??? \u00cates-vous une carotte, un oeuf ou un grain de caf\u00e9???<\/p>\n<p>Puissiez-vous avoir assez de bonheur pour vous adoucir, assez d\u2019\u00e9preuves pour devenir fort et assez de chagrin pour garder votre foi en l\u2019humanit\u00e9 et rester heureux. Les personnes les plus heureuses ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement celles qui sont les plus fortes, c\u2019est plut\u00f4t celles qui font de leur mieux pour affronter les obstacles que leur r\u00e9serve la vie.
