Les Etats-Unis ont menac\u00e9, lundi 2 d\u00e9cembre 2019, d&rsquo;imposer des droits de douane additionnels aux produits fran\u00e7ais qui pourraient aller jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100%, sur l&rsquo;\u00e9quivalent de 2,4 milliards de dollars. Il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 l&rsquo;instauration en France d&rsquo;une taxe sur les g\u00e9ants am\u00e9ricains du num\u00e9rique.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">C\u2019est le repr\u00e9sentant am\u00e9ricain au Commerce (USTR), Robert\nLighthizer qui a annonc\u00e9 ce lundi qu&rsquo;il avait propos\u00e9 d&rsquo;imposer des droits de\ndouane suppl\u00e9mentaires sur des produits fran\u00e7ais, citant une enqu\u00eate qui juge\nla taxe fran\u00e7aise sur les leaders du num\u00e9rique \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9raisonnable\u00a0\u00bb et\n\u00ab\u00a0discriminatoire\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00ab\u00a0L&rsquo;USTR s&rsquo;attache \u00e0 lutter contre le protectionnisme\ncroissant des Etats membres de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne, qui ciblent injustement les\nentreprises am\u00e9ricaines\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il comment\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9. Cette\nannonce fait suite \u00e0 une enqu\u00eate ouverte en juillet dernier par lui-m\u00eame qui a\nconclu que la l\u00e9gislation fran\u00e7aise dite \u00ab\u00a0Gafa\u00a0\u00bb (Google, Apple,\nFacebook et Amazon) porte pr\u00e9judice aux entreprises am\u00e9ricaines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parmi les produits qui pourraient \u00eatre surtax\u00e9s figurent de\nnombreux fromages, dont le Roquefort, les yaourts, le vin p\u00e9tillant ainsi que\ndes produits cosm\u00e9tiques comme le savon et le maquillage ou encore les sacs \u00e0\nmain. L&rsquo;administration Trump semble donc pour l&rsquo;heure \u00e9pargner le vin\ntraditionnel, un des produits d&rsquo;exportation tricolore les plus embl\u00e9matiques,\nd\u00e9j\u00e0 sous le coup de repr\u00e9sailles am\u00e9ricaines dans un autre litige commercial\nsur des subventions europ\u00e9ennes \u00e0 Airbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La proposition de l&rsquo;USTR, qui doit encore recevoir la\ncaution du pr\u00e9sident am\u00e9ricain Donald Trump, risque d&rsquo;intensifier les brouilles\navec l&rsquo;Union Europ\u00e9enne et la France en particulier. Lundi, avant l&rsquo;annonce de\ncette menace de repr\u00e9sailles, Bruno Le Maire a pr\u00e9venu que la France ne\nrenoncerait \u00ab\u00a0jamais\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 sa taxe sur les g\u00e9ants de la tech. Le ministre\nfran\u00e7ais de l&rsquo;Economie a \u00e9galement reproch\u00e9 aux Etats-Unis de ne plus vouloir\nd&rsquo;un grand accord international sur la fiscalit\u00e9 du num\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tendrait-on vers une guerre commerciale ?
