Selon Ict4Africa, un site \u00e9conomique, la conf\u00e9rence de presse sera anim\u00e9e par Marjorie Saint-Lot, Responsable Pays d\u2019Uber C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire et de Timothy Kiluba, Responsable Expansion Afrique sub-saharienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uber, anciennement UberCab1, est une entreprise\ntechnologique am\u00e9ricaine qui d\u00e9veloppe et exploite des applications mobiles de\nmise en contact d&rsquo;utilisateurs avec des conducteurs r\u00e9alisant des services de\ntransport. L&rsquo;entreprise est bas\u00e9e dans la ville californienne de San Francisco,\naux \u00c9tats-Unis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 2015, elle est valoris\u00e9e \u00e0 50 milliards de dollars et\nses applications sont commercialis\u00e9es dans plus de 310 villes dans le monde.\nElle a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e par Garrett Camp, Oscar Salazar et Travis Kalanick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organisant une activit\u00e9 commerciale r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de vente de\nservice comme s\u2019il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;une activit\u00e9 occasionnelle, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fait\nl&rsquo;objet de nombreuses pol\u00e9miques, en raison de d\u00e9bats sur ses pratiques, o\u00f9 la\nlibre concurrence qu&rsquo;elle d\u00e9fend se heurte \u00e0 des accusations de concurrence\nd\u00e9loyale et de travail dissimul\u00e9 de la part des pouvoirs et des professionnels\nqui se r\u00e9clament du respect de la r\u00e9glementation sociale, fiscale et\nadministrative en vigueur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, l\u2019application Yango \u00e9volue dans ce\ndomaine. En effet, c\u2019est une application de taxi d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par les russes qui\na remport\u00e9 un succ\u00e8s franc aupr\u00e8s de la population abidjanaise.
