Le Pays de Biya vient d&rsquo;\u00eatre exclu par l&rsquo;administration am\u00e9ricaine de l&rsquo;initiative Agoa (Africa Growth and Opportunity Act)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Cameroun ne fait plus partie des pays exon\u00e9r\u00e9s des droits de douanes sur leus exportations en direction des Etats Unis. L&rsquo;administration am\u00e9ricaine vient de retirer le pays d&rsquo;Afrique centrale de la liste des pays b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiant de l&rsquo;initiative AGOA ( African Growth and Opportunity Act\u00a0), un programme mis en oeuvre par le gouvernement am\u00e9ricain pour faciliter et encourager les exportations africaines vers les \u00c9tats-Unis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officiellement, il est reproch\u00e9 au pays de Paul Biya, le non respect des droits de l&rsquo;homme, certainement en rapport avec la crise anglophone dans le pays depuis trois (3) ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais la note r\u00e9v\u00e8le \u00e9galement que les exportations du Cameroun vers le pays de l&rsquo;Oncle Sam restent marginales. Selon les chiffres de son ambassade dans le pays, seulement 220 millions de dollars d&rsquo;exportations camerounaises (biens et services) ont pris la direction am\u00e9ricaine dont seulement 63 millions de dollars dans le cadre de l&rsquo;AGOA (90% sous forme de p\u00e9trole brut).
