Il est utilis\u00e9 comme rem\u00e8de contre le paludisme, la fatigue et la cysticercose. On peut m\u00eame extraire une huile aromatique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">C\u2019est \u00e9galement un bois pr\u00e9cieux tr\u00e8s recherch\u00e9 dans la menuiserie et l\u2019\u00e9b\u00e9nisterie. On peut aussi faire des instruments de musique avec le bois. C\u2019est un arbre tr\u00e8s dur et tr\u00e8s lourd, par contre il n\u2019est pas difficile \u00e0 sculpter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">Le secr\u00e9taire du minist\u00e8re de l\u2019environnement du Madagascar, pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 la convention qui a lieu \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que si l\u2019Etat malgache parvient \u00e0 prendre contr\u00f4le de la totalit\u00e9 des bois pr\u00e9cieux d\u00e9j\u00e0 coup\u00e9s et \u00e0 disposer des capacit\u00e9s n\u00e9cessaires en mati\u00e8re de contr\u00f4le forestier, la vente pourra reprendre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">La vente sera destin\u00e9e en priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation locale pour la r\u00e9habilitation des \u0153uvres d\u2019art et l\u2019artisanat. \u00ab\u00a0Il faut d\u2019abord sanctionner les barons actuels et pass\u00e9s de la mafia du trafic de bois de rose\u00a0\u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 au micro de Rfi le pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019alliance Vohary Gasy, Ndranto Razakamanarina, estimant que c\u2019est \u00ab\u00a0une condition indispensable pour une meilleure gouvernance des ressources naturelles\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">Le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement a fait savoir que la Cour sp\u00e9ciale de lutte contre le trafic de bois de rose et bois d\u2019\u00e9b\u00e8ne mis en place l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re a condamn\u00e9 19 accus\u00e9s \u00e0 20 ans de travaux forc\u00e9s
