parrainage du tabac lors de foires et de conf\u00e9rences internationales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">\u00ab\u00a0Le monde doit s\u2019unir pour mettre fin \u00e0 la commercialisation agressive de ses produits par l\u2019industrie du tabac, source de d\u00e9pendance, de souffrances et de millions de morts chaque ann\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l\u2019OMS dans la note publi\u00e9e par ONU Info.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">L\u2019organisation des nations unies pour la sant\u00e9 a fait cette exhortation suivant sa convention-cadre pour la lutte antitabac dont l\u2019article 5.3 comprend un engagement \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger les politiques de sant\u00e9 publique en mati\u00e8re de lutte antitabac des int\u00e9r\u00eats commerciaux de l\u2019industrie du tabac<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">Et ce communiqu\u00e9 de presse intervient \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re d\u2019information faisant \u00e9tat de compagnies de tabac cherchant \u00e0 \u00e9tablir de nouveaux partenariats avec des gouvernements pour parrainer des \u00e9v\u00e8nements ou des pavillons lors d\u2019expositions mondiales, dans un pays ayant d\u00e9j\u00e0 ratifi\u00e9 la Convention de l\u2019OMS pour la lutte antitabac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">L\u2019entreprise de tabac Philip Morris International a ainsi r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9 un partenariat avec le gouvernement suisse pour parrainer le pavillon suisse \u00e0 l\u2019Exposition universelle de Duba\u00ef, aux Emirats arabes unis, en 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">Selon l\u2019organisation, la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019un des principaux producteurs mondiaux de produits du tabac et de cigarettes-le seul produit r\u00e9put\u00e9 pour tuer la moiti\u00e9 de ses consommateurs- va \u00e0 l\u2019encontre du th\u00e8me de l\u2019Expo 2020, \u00ab\u00a0Connecter les esprits, cr\u00e9er le futur\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Candara',sans-serif; color: #383f4e;\">\u00ab\u00a0Les gouvernements doivent activement aspirer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le nombre de personnes qui commencent et continuent \u00e0 fumer, \u00e0 promouvoir la sant\u00e9 et \u00e0 pr\u00e9server les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures\u00a0\u00bb, a ajout\u00e9 l\u2019OMS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:
