En r\u00e9ponse, des milliers d&rsquo;\u00e9glises fonctionnaient sans permis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\"><em>\u00ab L&rsquo;Egypte a une longue histoire de r\u00e9glementation de la construction d&rsquo;\u00e9glises, mais de nombreuses \u00e9glises n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure d&rsquo;achever ce processus. Au lieu de cela, elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 construites ill\u00e9galement \u00bb<\/em>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le comit\u00e9 dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">E<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">n 2016, le gouvernement \u00e9gyptien a adopt\u00e9 une nouvelle loi visant \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le processus de l\u00e9galisation. Plus de 1\u00a0000 \u00e9glises ont obtenu des permis depuis que la loi a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">En vertu de la nouvelle loi, un comit\u00e9 minist\u00e9riel compos\u00e9 du premier ministre et des ministres de la Justice, du Logement et des Antiquit\u00e9s examine les demandes d&rsquo;approbation des \u00c9glises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Fin 2018, apr\u00e8s la l\u00e9galisation de plus de 100 \u00e9glises, le pr\u00e9sident des \u00c9glises protestantes d&rsquo;\u00c9gypte a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que le processus continuerait \u00e0 s&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Selon Open Doors USA, les chr\u00e9tiens d&rsquo;Egypte sont confront\u00e9s quotidiennement \u00e0 la pers\u00e9cution de la population islamique, mais c&rsquo;est un pas vers le changement. Open Doors USA a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la religion islamique \u00ab\u00a0alimente la discrimination et cr\u00e9e un environnement qui incite l&rsquo;\u00c9tat \u00e0 \u00eatre r\u00e9ticent \u00e0 respecter et \u00e0 faire respecter les droits fondamentaux des chr\u00e9tiens\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Selon World Watch Monitor, l&rsquo;\u00c9tat islamique a tu\u00e9 plus de 100 chr\u00e9tiens coptes en 2017.
