L’ONU a demand\u00e9 la tenue d’une enqu\u00eate ind\u00e9pendante sur la mort de l’ancien pr\u00e9sident \u00e9gyptien Mohamed Morsi.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ancien chef d\u2019Etat, 67 ans, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 victime d\u2019un malaise lors de sa comparution lundi.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Morsi, le premier pr\u00e9sident d\u00e9mocratiquement \u00e9lu d’\u00c9gypte, \u00e9tait en d\u00e9tention depuis son \u00e9viction par l’arm\u00e9e en 2013.<\/p>\n

Le Parti de la libert\u00e9 et de la justice de Mohamed Morsi, le bras politique des Fr\u00e8res musulmans, a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 un \u00ab\u00a0assassinat\u00a0\u00bb, d\u00e9non\u00e7ant les mauvaises conditions de d\u00e9tention dont \u00ab\u00a0le but \u00e9tait de le tuer \u00e0 petit feu\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Dans une d\u00e9claration, Rupert Colville, porte-parole du Haut Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l’homme, a soulign\u00e9 l’obligation de traiter les prisonniers humainement et a demand\u00e9 une enqu\u00eate \u00ab\u00a0minutieuse et ind\u00e9pendante\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Toute mort soudaine en prison doit \u00eatre suivie d’une enqu\u00eate rapide, impartiale, minutieuse et transparente men\u00e9e par un organe ind\u00e9pendant afin de faire la lumi\u00e8re sur la cause du d\u00e9c\u00e8s. Comme l’ancien pr\u00e9sident Mohamed Morsi \u00e9tait d\u00e9tenu par les autorit\u00e9s \u00e9gyptiennes au moment de sa mort, l’Etat a la responsabilit\u00e9 de s’assurer qu’il \u00e9tait trait\u00e9 humainement et que son droit \u00e0 rester en vie et \u00e0 \u00eatre soign\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 respect\u00e9\u00bb<\/em>, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Morsi est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 alors qu’il comparaissait en Cour pour une nouvelle affaire d\u2019espionnage. Il risquait d\u00e9j\u00e0 des d\u00e9cennies de prison apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 condamn\u00e9 dans des proc\u00e8s s\u00e9par\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
