Tout a commenc\u00e9 il y a plus de 130 ans, \u00e0 Chicago (Etats-Unis), lors  d\u2019une journ\u00e9e de lutte men\u00e9e par les\u00a0syndicats de travailleurs  am\u00e9ricains\u00a0pour obtenir la journ\u00e9e de huit heures <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 1er mai a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9 du travail \u00e9tait totale. Au cours de leur congr\u00e8s de 1884, ils choisissent la date du 1er mai pour d\u00e9buter leur action car beaucoup  de contrats travail arrivent \u00e0 terme ce m\u00eame jour. 200 000 travailleurs  am\u00e9ricains obtiennent la journ\u00e9e de huit heures le 1er mai 1886. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">les syndicats am\u00e9ricains ont bataill\u00e9 deux ann\u00e9es pour imposer aux employeurs une limitation de la journ\u00e9e de travail \u00e0 huit heures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alors que\ncertains employeurs se refusaient \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e, le 3 mai de cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0, ils\norganis\u00e8rent une manifestation faisant trois morts parmi les gr\u00e9vistes de la\nsoci\u00e9t\u00e9 McCormick Harvester, \u00e0 Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Le lendemain a eu lieu une marche de protestation, tandis que la manifestation se disperse \u00e0 Haymarket Square, il ne reste plus que 200 manifestants face \u00e0 autant de policiers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une bombe a\nexplos\u00e9 devant les forces de l\u2019ordre. Cette bombe a caus\u00e9 la mort d\u2019un\npolicier. Une bagarre se d\u00e9clenche et sept autres policiers y perdent la vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 la suite\nde cet attentat, huit anarchistes furent arr\u00eat\u00e9s, quatre furent pendus malgr\u00e9\nl\u2019inexistence de preuves le 11 novembre 1887 (connu depuis comme Black Friday\nou vendredi noir), avant d\u2019\u00eatre innocent\u00e9s puis r\u00e9habilit\u00e9s publiquement en\n1893, le dernier s\u2019\u00e9tant suicid\u00e9 dans sa cellule. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trois autres sont condamn\u00e9s \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9.
