Omar El Bechir, celui qu’il convient d\u00e9sormais d’appeler l’ancien pr\u00e9sident Soudanais a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vinc\u00e9 le 11 avril dernier \u00e0 la suite des manifestations populaires contre ses 30 ann\u00e9es au pouvoir. L’on se souvient que c’est en 1989 que El Bechir avait brigu\u00e9 la magistrature supr\u00eame apr\u00e8s un coup d’Etat. Apr\u00e8s sa r\u00e9cente destitution et sa mise aux arr\u00eats, un conseil militaire de transition est mont\u00e9 aux affaires et depuis lors, aucune information officielle n’a \u00e9t\u00e9 communiqu\u00e9e sur l’ex-chef d’Etat.<\/p>\n

Aucune annonce officielle n’a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite sur son \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9, ni sur son lieu de d\u00e9tention encore moins sur ses conditions de d\u00e9tention. Mais la presse internationale a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu’Omar El Bechir aurait d\u2019abord \u00e9t\u00e9 plac\u00e9 en r\u00e9sidence surveill\u00e9e puis transf\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 la prison de\u00a0Kobar\u00a0le 17 avril, une prison de haute s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Au regard de la situation, ce lundi 29 avril, la m\u00e8re de l’ancien pr\u00e9sident soudanais a formul\u00e9 un v\u0153u \u00e0 l’endroit des autorit\u00e9s du pouvoir de transition.<\/p>\n

Les m\u00e9dias internationaux indiquent que l’ex-pr\u00e9sident soudanais a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de contester ses conditions de d\u00e9tention ce qui aurait entra\u00een\u00e9 un accident vasculaire c\u00e9r\u00e9bral (AVC). M\u00eame si la presse internationale a fait savoir que son \u00e9tat a \u00e9t\u00e9 stabilis\u00e9, la presse r\u00e9gionale indique par contre que son \u00e9tat est\u00a0critique puisqu\u2019il fallait \u00ab\u00a0le nourrir et lui faire prendre des m\u00e9dicaments de force<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Accabl\u00e9 par autant de bruit sur son fils, la m\u00e8re de l\u2019ancien pr\u00e9sident, aurait sollicit\u00e9 lui rendre visite et s\u2019enqu\u00e9rir\u00a0 de sa situation ainsi que celle d’Abudallah\u00a0et\u00a0Abbas\u00a0B\u00e9chir\u00a0les fr\u00e8res de l’ex-pr\u00e9sident.<\/p>\n

D’apr\u00e8s la presse internationale, la m\u00e8re de\u00a0B\u00e9chir serait\u00a0une femme de condition simple, une paysanne d\u2019origine arabe de la tribu des B\u00e9douins\u00a0Al-Bedairyya Al-Dahmashyya. Elle\u00a0se serait install\u00e9e avec son \u00e9poux, un fermier, \u00e0\u00a0Hosh Bannaga, au nord de\u00a0Khartoum, o\u00f9\u00a0Omar\u00a0voyait le jour. Mari\u00e9 deux fois , l\u2019ancien pr\u00e9sident n\u2019aurait aucune descendance.<\/p>\n
