Ce barrage, le plus grand d\u2019Afrique, \u0153uvre de l\u2019Etat Ethiopien, ne rencontrait pas l\u2019assentiment de l\u2019Egypte et du Soudan. D\u00e9sormais, les trois voisins ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de regarder dans la m\u00eame direction afin de terminer les travaux et offrir l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 des millions d\u2019Africains.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est d\u2019abord l\u2019Egypte et le Soudan qui sont parvenus \u00e0 un accord sur le barrage de la Renaissance, le 27 janvier dernier. Apr\u00e8s cet accord, les dirigeants des trois pays concern\u00e9s par ce barrage, sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 unir leurs forces pour voir aboutir ce vaste projet d\u2019infrastructure, inscrit dans le programme pour le d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures en Afrique (PIDA), pilot\u00e9 par la Commission de l\u2019Union Africaine, et l\u2019Agence du Nepad.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, l\u2019Ethiopie, l\u2019Egypte et le Soudan, \u00e0 travers leurs dirigeants respectifs, Abdel Fattah al-Sissi pr\u00e9sident de l&rsquo;Egypte, le pr\u00e9sident Omar al-Bashir du Soudan et le Premier ministre de l&rsquo;Ethiopie, Abiy Ahmed viennent \u00e9galement de se mettre d&rsquo;accord sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de parvenir \u00e0 un accord sur l&rsquo;ensemble des questions en suspens relatives aux n\u00e9gociations autour du barrage. L&rsquo;accord a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenu suite \u00e0 un sommet rassemblant les dirigeants des trois pays, la semaine derni\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Long de plus de 1800 m, le Grand barrage de la Renaissance \u00c9thiopienne est situ\u00e9 sur le long du Nil bleu, dans la r\u00e9gion de Benishangul-Gumuz, \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 600 km, au Nord-Ouest d\u2019Addis Abeba, la capitale \u00e9thiopienne. Avec une hauteur de 155 m, il devrait \u00eatre \u00e0 terme, le plus grand barrage hydro\u00e9lectrique d\u2019Afrique, avec une capacit\u00e9 de production de plus de 6000 M\u00e9gawatts.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019un co\u00fbt de plus de 4,8 milliards de dollars, le Grand Barrage de la Renaissance Ethiopienne, devrait, en plus de la production de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 qui est son but principal, favoriser \u00e9galement le d\u00e9veloppement des \u00e9changes, et le d\u00e9placement des populations, par la construction des routes dans la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hartman N&rsquo;CHO<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019horizon se d\u00e9gage peu \u00e0 peu pour la r\u00e9alisation du barrage de la renaissance.
