Selon les anthropologues am\u00e9ricains, les habitants du continent europ\u00e9ens avaient toujours la peau ensoleill\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Mais vivant d\u00e9sormais dans une r\u00e9gion faiblement ensoleill\u00e9e par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique originale, la production de la m\u00e9lanine des individus s\u2019est modifi\u00e9e de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 favoriser la synth\u00e8se de la vitamine D.<\/p>\n<p>Cette mutation qui favorise la d\u00e9pigmentation de la peau a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e par les scientifiques en comparant les g\u00e9nomes des 83 squelettes entre eux et avec ceux d\u2019un millier d\u2019Europ\u00e9ens Contemporains.
