Bush \u00e9tait un grand pr\u00e9sident des \u00c9tats-Unis: un diplomate au talent incomparable, un commandant en chef avec de grands accomplissements et un homme qui s&rsquo;acquittait de ses fonctions avec dignit\u00e9 et honneur\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Bush fils a laiss\u00e9 entendre que le style de vie parfois fr\u00e9n\u00e9tique de son p\u00e8re avait \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9 par deux exp\u00e9riences de mort imminente\u00a0; une maladie dans sa jeunesse et le moment o\u00f9 son avion avait \u00e9t\u00e9 abattu.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux Bush ont \u00e9t\u00e9 le deuxi\u00e8me p\u00e8re et fils \u00e0 occuper les postes de pr\u00e9sident am\u00e9ricain. (John Adams et John Quincy Adams ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les premiers). George H.W. Bush \u00e9tait connu pour son approche d\u00e9lib\u00e9rative en coulisse de la diplomatie, qui mettait l&rsquo;accent sur la cr\u00e9ation d&rsquo;alliances avec des dirigeants \u00e9trangers. Son fils avait un style plus impulsif et une volont\u00e9 plus grande d\u2019agir de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 nuire aux relations avec certains alli\u00e9s des \u00c9tats-Unis. Leur politique vis-\u00e0-vis de l&rsquo;Irak illustre de mani\u00e8re dramatique ces diff\u00e9rences.<\/p>\n<p>George H.W. Bush est n\u00e9 dans une famille ais\u00e9e de la Nouvelle-Angleterre et a eu une \u00e9ducation de patricien. Mais dans son \u00e9loge fun\u00e8bre, George W. Il cherchait le bien chez chaque personne et il le trouvait g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Fondant en larmes, George Bush a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le pr\u00e9sident d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 pour avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0le meilleur p\u00e8re qu&rsquo;un fils ou une fille puisse avoir.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Papa nous a appris \u00e0 tous ce que signifie \u00eatre un bon mari. Il a \u00e9pous\u00e9 sa ch\u00e9rie. Il l&rsquo;adorait. Il riait et pleurait avec elle. Il lui \u00e9tait totalement d\u00e9vou\u00e9. Dans sa vieillesse, papa aimait regarder les rediffusions de programme policier, le volume \u00e9lev\u00e9, tout en tenant la main de maman.
