Ce, d\u2019autant plus que la population civile se trouve prise au pi\u00e8ge entre les deux feux.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab <em>Nous demandons qu\u2019il soit imm\u00e9diatement mis fin aux attaques aveugles dirig\u00e9es contre les civils et aux maisons incendi\u00e9es par les forces gouvernementales camerounaises, ainsi qu\u2019aux attaques perp\u00e9tr\u00e9es par les s\u00e9paratistes anglophones contre les forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et les civils<\/em> \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 le d\u00e9partement d\u2019Etat am\u00e9ricain dans un communiqu\u00e9 disponible sur son site.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9but de la crise anglophone, l&rsquo;on a d\u00e9j\u00e0 enregistr\u00e9 une cinquantaine de villages incendi\u00e9s\u00a0 , totalement ou partiellement ruin\u00e9s par l&rsquo;expansion des flammes. Les populations des localit\u00e9s concern\u00e9es ont fui au Nigeria ou dans des villes voisines. Face \u00e0 cette situation, s\u00e9paratistes et forces de d\u00e9fense se rejettent mutuellement les responsabilit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de sa prestation de serment en d\u00e9but de semaine, le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique du Cameroun Paul Biya a demand\u00e9 aux groupes s\u00e9paratistes de d\u00e9poser les armes. Au cas contraire, ils s&rsquo;exposeront \u00e0 la rigueur de la loi.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Biya a par ailleurs promis que le calme et la s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9 reviendront tr\u00e8s prochainement dans les deux r\u00e9gions concern\u00e9es. Le chef de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 que tout sera mis en oeuvre pour une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la d\u00e9centralisation.
