Si le monde n\u2019agit pas de fa\u00e7on spectaculaire pour r\u00e9duire la quantit\u00e9 de dioxyde de carbone lib\u00e9r\u00e9e dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re, des dommages catastrophiques se produiront dans 12 ans \u00e0 partir de maintenant.<\/p>\n<p>Les auteurs du rapport historique du Groupe d&rsquo;experts intergouvernemental sur l&rsquo;\u00e9volution du climat (GIEC) publi\u00e9 lundi ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que des changements urgents et sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00e9taient n\u00e9cessaires pour atteindre l&rsquo;objectif vis\u00e9, ce qui, selon eux, est abordable et r\u00e9alisable.<\/p>\n<p>Le panel des Nations Unies sur le changement climatique a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l&rsquo;impact du changement climatique pourrait encore \u00eatre ralenti si des pays du monde entier prenaient des mesures sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent pour r\u00e9duire leur utilisation de combustibles fossiles et lib\u00e9rer moins de dioxyde de carbone et d&rsquo;autres gaz \u00e0 effet de serre dans l&rsquo;air.<\/p>\n<p>Le monde est actuellement plus chaud que les niveaux pr\u00e9industriels.Le groupe d&rsquo;experts livre un bilan tr\u00e8s inqui\u00e9tant car \u00ab <em>le changement climatique est une r\u00e9alit\u00e9, avec un r\u00e9chauffement plan\u00e9taire de 1\u00b0C au-dessus du niveau pr\u00e9industriel d\u00fb aux activit\u00e9s humaines<\/em> \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Alors qu&rsquo;on se dirige actuellement plut\u00f4t vers 3\u00b0C, le rapport affirme que limiter la hausse du r\u00e9chauffement \u00e0 1,5\u00b0C au lieu des 2\u00b0C envisag\u00e9s jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent est encore possible, \u00e0 condition de mettre rapidement en place des changements profonds.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Le r\u00e9chauffement climatique\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2nKIbotfDSc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00ab <em>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un effort historique, associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des transitions profondes des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, urbains, industriels et de la gestion des terres. L\u2019ambition de contenir le r\u00e9chauffement \u00e0 1,5\u00b0C demanderait d\u2019agir plus t\u00f4t et plus rapidement que pour le limiter \u00e0 2\u00b0C<\/em> \u00bb, explique Val\u00e9rie Masson-Delmotte, climatologue au CEA et copr\u00e9sidente du 6e cycle d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation du Giec.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s les ouragans d\u00e9vastateurs aux \u00c9tats-Unis, les s\u00e9cheresses record au Cap et les incendies de for\u00eats dans l&rsquo;Arctique, le GIEC a clairement annonc\u00e9 que le changement climatique se produisait d\u00e9j\u00e0, renfor\u00e7ant ses avertissements sur les risques par rapport \u00e0 des rapports pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents et averti que chaque r\u00e9chauffement suppl\u00e9mentaire aggraverait l&rsquo;impact .<\/p>\n<p>Selon le rapport, tout d\u00e9pend de l&rsquo;action qui sera men\u00e9e entre maintenant et 2030, mais l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9 fait face \u00e0 deux montagnes\u00a0: \u00ab <em>l\u2019ampleur de l\u2019effort \u00e0 faire et l\u2019ampleur
