Le pr\u00e9sident Fran\u00e7ais Emmanuel Macron s’est exprim\u00e9 mardi 25 septembre \u00e0 la tribune de l’ONU \u00e0 l’occasion de la 73\u00e8me Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations Unies. Le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat fran\u00e7ais a \u00e9t\u00e9 amen\u00e9 \u00e0 se prononcer sur une probable lib\u00e9ration de Laurent Gbagbo d\u00e9tenu \u00e0 la CPI au lendemain de la crise post-\u00e9lectorale de 2011. L’on se souvient que Laurent Gbagbo avait \u00e9t\u00e9 accus\u00e9 de meurtres et de crimes contre l’humanit\u00e9.*<\/p>\n

Pour Emmanuel Macron, il ne lui \u00a0\u201c<\/strong>appartient pas de se prononcer<\/em>\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0sur la lib\u00e9ration de l\u2019ex-chef d\u2019\u00c9tat ivoirien Laurent Gbagbo, jug\u00e9 devant la Cour p\u00e9nale internationale (CPI). Le pr\u00e9sident fran\u00e7ais a par ailleurs indiqu\u00e9 qu’il souhaite que\u00a0\u201c<\/strong>le droit international soit respect\u00e9<\/em>\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/strong>Il ne m\u2019appartient pas de me prononcer sur des sujets domestiques. Je souhaite que le droit international soit toujours respect\u00e9\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0a r\u00e9pondu M. Macron, interrog\u00e9 par un journaliste ivoirien\u00a0 Kouhon Philippe.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Macron a \u00e9galement\u00a0\u00a0\u201c<\/strong>encourag\u00e9 les voies d\u2019une r\u00e9conciliation qui sont la cl\u00e9 pour une stabilit\u00e9 durable\u201c, dans les pays qui ont connu \u201cune transition d\u00e9mocratique<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu, depuis quelques mois, le proc\u00e8s de Laurent Gbagbo devra reprendre le 1er octobre prochain. Accus\u00e9 de \u201ccrimes contre l\u2019humanit\u00e9\u201d, il comparait \u00e0 la CPI en m\u00eame temps que l\u2019ancien leader des \u201cJeunes patriotes\u201d Charles Bl\u00e9 Goud\u00e9, depuis janvier 2016. Leurs avocats ont demand\u00e9 l\u2019arr\u00eat du proc\u00e8s pour \u201cinsuffisance de preuves et l\u2019acquittement de leurs clients\u201d.<\/p>\n
