Environ deux millions de p\u00e8lerins ont fait la lapidation symbolique du diable \u00e0 la Mecque, les derniers rites du p\u00e8lerinage annuel.<\/p>\n

La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie marque le d\u00e9but de la f\u00eate de l’A\u00efd Al Adha, selon Gulf News<\/p>\n

Les musulmans participant au p\u00e8lerinage annuel du hadj, l’un des cinq piliers de l’islam, ont travers\u00e9 la vall\u00e9e de Mina, dans la province de Makkah, \u00e0 l’ouest de l’Arabie saoudite, transportant des cailloux dans des bouteilles en plastique.<\/p>\n

Les p\u00e8lerins v\u00eatus de blanc ont lanc\u00e9 sept pierres chacun sur un pilier symbolisant Satan, criant \u00ab\u00a0Allahu akbar\u00a0\u00bb (\u00ab\u00a0Dieu est le plus grand\u00a0\u00bb) sous les yeux attentifs des forces de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

De gros ventilateurs pulv\u00e9risaient de l’eau sur la foule lorsque la temp\u00e9rature atteignait 44 degr\u00e9s Celsius.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Dieu merci, il n’y a pas eu trop de monde cette ann\u00e9e. Il n’y a pas eu de grande pr\u00e9cipitation \u00ab\u00a0,<\/em> a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mohammea Osman, \u00e2g\u00e9 de 27 ans, qui assiste r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement au hajj.<\/p>\n
