L\u2019\u00e9lectrification a \u00e9t\u00e9 possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une unit\u00e9 solaire de 2000 KW qui a permis \u00e0 ce petit village tr\u00e8s enclav\u00e9 du d\u00e9partement de Nioro d\u2019avoir de la lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Dieu r\u00e9compensera Akon qui ne mesure peut-\u00eatre pas la port\u00e9e de ses actes \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Cheikh Mahi Ciss\u00e9 (photo \u00e0 droite), l\u2019imam par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire de qui le programme a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le village.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9lectrification devrait non seulement am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie des habitants du village, mais \u00e9galement permettre aux \u00a0femmes dudit village d\u2019\u00eatre autonomes. Elles pourront en effet faire du mara\u00eechage par irrigation et transformer des produits agricoles.<\/p>\n<p>Le \u00ab Akon Lighting Africa \u00bb est un projet con\u00e7u par le chanteur am\u00e9ricain d\u2019origine s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise Akon (photo \u00e0 gauche).
