L’acteur ghan\u00e9en, John Dumelo, accus\u00e9 d’idol\u00e2trie apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 vu en train de prier aux pieds d’une statue de J\u00e9sus \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, au Canada, n’est pas rest\u00e9 silencieux.<\/p>\n

L’acteur avait partag\u00e9 sur son compte Instagram une photo o\u00f9 il priait pour ses proches aux pieds de la statue.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je ne r\u00e9ponds g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas aux commentaires \u00ab\u00a0n\u00e9gatifs\u00a0\u00bb sur Instagram, mais ces commentaires doivent \u00eatre clarifi\u00e9s. J’ai post\u00e9 une photo de moi touchant les pieds d’une statue du Christ dans une \u00e9glise de Montr\u00e9al. Certaines personnes ont dit que c’\u00e9tait de l\u2019idol\u00e2trie. Certains ont dit que c\u2019\u00e9tait du blasph\u00e8me et d\u2019autres ont dit que c\u2019\u00e9tait de l\u2019occultisme. Si nous lisons Matthieu 9: 20-22, ce passage parle d’une femme qui a touch\u00e9 le v\u00eatement de J\u00e9sus pour \u00eatre gu\u00e9ri.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Elle avait dit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Si je puis seulement toucher son v\u00eatement, je serai gu\u00e9rie \u00bb. C’\u00e9tait sa foi. Et sa foi l’a gu\u00e9rie. Lorsque nous allons dans certaines \u00e9glises ces jours-ci, on vend de l’huile d’onction, de l’eau, etc. Certains sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 prier pour ces choses et les appliquer pour \u00eatre gu\u00e9ris. Qu’en est-il de ceux qui touchent l\u2019\u00e9cran de leur t\u00e9l\u00e9vision pour \u00eatre gu\u00e9ris? Est-ce de l\u2019idol\u00e2trie? Est-ce de l’occultisme?\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Non, tout d\u00e9pend de votre foi. La foi a une grande influence si elle est pratiqu\u00e9e correctement. Je suis un catholique et je n\u2019aurai jamais honte. Mes croyances et principes catholiques m’ont amen\u00e9 jusque-l\u00e0 et cela me m\u00e8ne plus loin. Nous croyons tous en un seul Dieu. Pas besoin de juger. Que Dieu nous b\u00e9nisse tous.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

I usually don\u2019t respond to \u2018negative \u2018 comments on Instagram but these set of comments need clarification. I posted a picture of myself touching the feet of a statue Christ in a church in Montreal. Some people said it\u2019s idol worshipping. Some said it\u2019s blasphemy and others too said it\u2019s occultism. If we all turn our bibles to Matthew 9:20\u201322, it\u2019s talks about a woman touching the robe of Jesus to be healed. She said \u201c If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed\u201d. That was her faith. And her faith healed her. When we go to certain churches these days, anointing oil, water etc are sold. Some are asked to pray over these and apply them to be healed. What about those that touch Tv\u2019s to be healed? Is that idol worshipping? Is that occultism? No, it\u2019s all in your faith. Faith is such a big influence if used correctly. I\u2019m a proud catholic and I will never be ashamed of that. My catholic beliefs and principles have brought me this far and it\u2019s taking me further. We all believe in one God. No need to judge. God bless us all. \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udfff<\/a><\/p>\n
