La raison, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 empoisonn\u00e9 par la bact\u00e9rie capnocutophoga canimorsus, qui peut exceptionnellement \u00eatre \u00e0 l\u2019origine d\u2019un choc septique chez l\u2019homme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selon le Washington Post, qui annonce la nouvelle dans son \u00e9dition du mardi dernier, l\u2019homme a d\u00fb \u00eatre amput\u00e9 en urgence. La bact\u00e9rie a \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e dans la salive de l\u2019animal et les m\u00e9decins ont d\u00fb circonscrire l\u2019infection en lui amputant les membres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le jour du choc, Greg Manteufel, peintre professionnel de 48 ans, a \u00e9t\u00e9 en contact avec 8 chiens diff\u00e9rents, et parmi eux il y avait le sien.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img  title=\"\"  alt=\"USA: L\u00e9ch\u00e9 par un chien, un homme se retrouve amput\u00e9 de ses 4 membres\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"uwplaceholder-img\" src=\"https:\/\/media.gannett-cdn.com\/29906170001\/29906170001_5817399143001_5817392615001-vs.jpg?pubId=29906170001&amp;quality=10\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C\u2019est au courant de la journ\u00e9e que les sympt\u00f4mes de l\u2019infection ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se pr\u00e9senter. Il avait notamment de la fi\u00e8vre et des vomissements. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le lendemain, l\u2019homme allait de mal en pis. En plus de la fi\u00e8vre, il commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 avoir un \u00e9pisode de d\u00e9lire. C\u2019est ainsi que son \u00e9pouse a d\u00fb le conduire \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00f4pital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tout d\u2019abord, les m\u00e9decins ont essay\u00e9 de calmer l\u2019infection avec des antibiotiques par intraveineuse, mais c\u2019\u00e9tait peine perdue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Des caillots de sang s\u2019\u00e9taient form\u00e9s au niveau des extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s, ce qui bloquait l\u2019afflux sanguin et entra\u00eenait la mort des tissus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La semaine suivante, le peintre avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 perdu l\u2019usage de ses jambes et de ses mains, c\u2019est ainsi que les m\u00e9decins ont d\u00fb l\u2019amputer pour circonscrire l\u2019infection et le maintenir en vie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En G\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la bact\u00e9rie, le capnocytophaga canimorsus est fr\u00e9quente chez les chiens, m\u00eame en bonne sant\u00e9.
