rds.<\/span><\/p>\nSelon les pr\u00e9visions, le Nigeria ne compterait pas moins de 189 millions d’habitants entre 2018 et 2050, selon le D\u00e9partement des affaires \u00e9conomiques et sociales des Nations Unies (DAES).<\/p>\n
L’ONU, dans un nouveau rapport intitul\u00e9 \u00abR\u00e9vision des perspectives d’urbanisation dans le monde en 2018\u00bb, pr\u00e9voyait qu’environ 2,5 milliards de personnes suppl\u00e9mentaires vivraient dans les villes d’ici 2050.<\/p>\n
L’agence de presse du Nigeria (NAN) rapporte que le DAES dans un rapport ant\u00e9rieur a d\u00e9clar\u00e9:<\/p>\n
\u00ab\u00a0D’ici 2050, le troisi\u00e8me pays le plus peupl\u00e9 sera le Nigeria, qui se situe actuellement au septi\u00e8me rang, et qui devrait remplacer les \u00c9tats-Unis\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00ab\u00a0Ensemble, l’Inde, la Chine et le Nigeria repr\u00e9senteront 35% de la croissance projet\u00e9e de la population urbaine mondiale entre 2018 et 2050 …<\/strong><\/p>\n\u00ab\u00a0Il est pr\u00e9vu que l’Inde aura enregistr\u00e9 416 millions de citadins, la Chine 255 millions et le Nigeria 189 millions\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong>, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la DAES.<\/p>\nLe d\u00e9partement de l’ONU a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu’en 2050, deux personnes sur trois vivraient probablement dans des villes ou d’autres centres urbains, soulignant la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d’une planification urbaine et de services publics plus durables.<\/p>\n
En raison des changements d\u00e9mographiques et de la croissance d\u00e9mographique globale, cela signifie qu’environ 2,5 milliards de personnes pourraient \u00eatre ajout\u00e9es aux zones urbaines d’ici le milieu du si\u00e8cle, pr\u00e9dit le DESA.<\/p>\n
