Le programme annuel de la CEDEAO, dans le cadre de la promotion du genre, a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9 ce lundi 19 f\u00e9vrier, \u00e0 Abidjan, par le Ministre ivoirien de la femme, de la protection de l\u2019enfant et de la solidarit\u00e9, Pr Mariatou Kon\u00e9. C’\u00e9tait en pr\u00e9sence du vice pr\u00e9sident de la commission de la CEDEAO, le Gambien Edward Singhatey, et bien d\u2019autres personnalit\u00e9s.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/u><\/u><\/span>Le programme annuel de la CEDEAO pour la promotion du genre se d\u00e9cline en trois points. A savoir l’octroi de bourses d\u2019excellence pour soutenir des filles de l\u2019espace CEDEAO brillantes dans leur parcours scolaire, la lutte contre la fistule obst\u00e9tricale, et l\u2019appui \u00e0 la transformation des produits agricoles, halieutiques, et artisanaux.<\/span><\/div>\n
Pour l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2018, plus de 80 millions de FCFA seront mis \u00e0 la disposition de la C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire pour couvrir ce programme.<\/span><\/div>\n
Pourrappel, au moins 150 filles s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es dans l\u2019espace CEDEAO b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront \u00e9galement d\u2019une assistance dans la mise en \u0153uvre du programme CEDEAO pour la promotion du genre.<\/span><\/div>\n
\"C\u00f4te<\/div>\n
<\/u><\/u><\/span>Depuis l\u2019initiation en 2010 de ce programme, en collaboration avec le centre de d\u00e9veloppement du genre (CCDG), plus de 340 femmes dont 30 en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises en charge dans le traitement de la fistule obst\u00e9tricale.<\/span><\/div>\n

<\/u><\/u><\/span>En outre, 51 filles ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de bourses d\u2019excellence, trois groupements de coop\u00e9ratives f\u00e9minines ont \u00e9galement b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un appui accord\u00e9 par ce programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
