De plus, un grand nombre d&rsquo;immigr\u00e9s aux \u00c9tats-Unis sont des musulmans.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la m\u00eame \u00e9tude, l&rsquo;Islam d\u00e9passera le juda\u00efsme comme deuxi\u00e8me religion derri\u00e8re le christianisme, dans les deux d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 venir. Leurs donn\u00e9es r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que la population musulmane va plus que doubler, passant de 3,45 millions en 2017 (1,1% de la population totale) \u00e0 8,1 millions en 2050 (2,1% de la population totale).<\/p>\n<p>Le Pew Research center a combin\u00e9 les \u00e9tudes men\u00e9es en 2007, 2011 et 2017 avec les donn\u00e9es annuelles du recensement am\u00e9ricain pour faire une image de l&rsquo;avenir de la population musulmane en Am\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, m\u00eame si la population musulmane augmente, elle ne repr\u00e9sentera qu\u2019une infime faction de la population totale et les changements dans d\u2019autres groupes auront \u00e9galement un impact important sur la composition du pays.<\/p>\n<p>En 2020 par exemple, la population chr\u00e9tienne sera de 252 millions, soit pr\u00e8s de 70 fois la population musulmane pr\u00e9dite.<\/p>\n<p>La majorit\u00e9 des musulmans vit dans les zones m\u00e9tropolitaines, plus particuli\u00e8rement \u00e0 Washington DC, et \u00e0 New York City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Une nouvelle \u00e9tude du Pew Research Center a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que l\u2019Islam pourrait devenir la deuxi\u00e8me religion des \u00c9tats-Unis d\u2019ici \u00e0 2040 en raison de la forte croissance de la population musulmane.
